Briefings & B-fast sessions
LOGOS regularly organises Briefings and B-fast sessions.
Briefings: our briefings promote debate between European institutions' high-level representatives and industry on current issues of interest, thereby creating an opportunity for industry leaders to make a positive contribution to ongoing discussions. LOGOS Briefings include a high level official as keynote speaker and a group of 10-12 senior industry representatives and are held under Chatham House Rule. Our briefings generally take the form of dinner meetings, and we sometimes also organize lunch briefings. Attendance is ‘by invitation only’.
Examples of previous briefings:
-
14 July 2011 : The role industry can play in increasing energy efficiency and the steps needed on the road to a 2050 low carbon economy, Paul Hodson, Head of Unit, Energy Efficiency & Intelligent Energy, DG Energy, European Commission
- 27 January 2011 : How Information Technologies can help deliver better health services in Europe and the challenges of policy design for e-health, Robert Madelin, Director General of DG INFSO
B-fast sessions: our B-fast sessions are in-house meetings organised in the morning and include a guest lecturer or a LOGOS Senior Consultant as keynote speaker and a group of 10-12 representatives of associations or other organisations. We welcome our participants with fresh croissants and coffee.
